The Rookie Workshop is for all rookies and is mandatory. Any rookie who lives on the road system in Alaska is required to attend.
The ultimate goal is to familiarize racers and riders with the challenges, safety requirements and risks associated with running the Iron Dog race.
Pro Class racers: the first hour, 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., is dedicated specifically to you. Race Marshals are available to answer questions on the race rules. Please prepare your questions ahead of time.
This event is live streamed for those not able to attend in person.
There are two live streams, one before lunch and one after lunch.
